There are many ancient historical books that the Holy Scriptures mentioned and recommended us to read so that we may understand the ancient histories and in them we may have hope (Rom.15:4). Jasher is one of those ancient books that still exist. It is reference in Joshua 10:13; 2 Samuel 1:18; and alluded to in 2 Timothy 3:8. This volume contains all 91 chapters, plus a detailed analysis of some points that would seem to be in disagreements; Historical accounts and cross-references, and detailed tables to facilitate this book. It is a book of historical Hebrew origin, and it covers practically the same stories similar to the first seven books of the Canon, the ancient book of Jasher expanded on critical missing information, i.e.: Creation of man, it answers questions about, how did Esau die? How did Nimrod rule and died? Who was truly Balaam the son of Beor and his sons? Who was Beor? Who was Zepho the son of Eliphaz and grandson of Esau? What act of Zepho the grandson of Esau would commit that would forever change how the Egyptians would see the Israelites and how did his act lead the Israelites into slavery? Why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah suddenly in a moment? Was it just for sodomy they got destroyed as we have been told, or were there much indecorous acts that was a stench to God’s nose? Who was Enoch, who ascended to heaven alive? And how did he please the LORD? Where did the rod of Moses come from? The lives of some prophets, the patriarchs, and many events of collective and religious interest that people would like to know, the book of Jasher answer many other questions and short stories that the Bible does not give us too much detail about them. Or stories that are not in the Bible but that a few passages allude too here and there. And we present notes at the end, in a short description of this book. There are some Bibles that include the Book of Jasher, such as the Latin Vulgate Bible, the Bible from the FIRST CHURCH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST Philadelphia, PA. Although the Catholic Church has removed this book from the Biblical canon at one point or another, it still remains as a book that is most loved by many people. As with any ancient history book, there are typographical errors in the text, but it is not surprising that this ancient document confirms the Holy Scriptures and the chronology given in the Hebrew version of the Old Testament. We hope you enjoy this book and add it to your collection for more information not found in the Holy Scriptures.
